For such an advanced project, the client trusted Apego’s all-round expertise in the footwear industry and commissioned him not only to make the molds, but also to develop and manage the assembly process of the various parts.
Thus, Apego gathered and coordinated the work of the various project partners by finalizing design details not only of the mold, but also of the upper and assembly. Thanks to the collaboration with Frasson, a two-tone sole was perfected, with different densities and a high level of technicality that complies with the mechanical-technical characteristics required by the customer and combines them with an extremely pleasing appearance.
Also made by Apego are the blue TPU crampon bindings. Well-established experience also in the field of technical molds for plastic components, which are very difficult to make due to the complex geometries required, allowed Apego to work closely with the molding factory selected by the customer and achieve an optimal result.
