Complex articles

Molds made by direct injection molding processes on uppers or by bonding processes can go so far as to provide for the combination of a rubber tread (which can mix up to 3 colors) with TPU soles and PU midsole, in single or dual density, with the option of single or dual color.

For boot molding, one can go so far as to make items involving up to 3 different components (distinct in density and color), to which, again, a tread pattern (consisting of up to 3 colors) can be combined

For all the cases just mentioned, the molding can also provide for the application of decorative films, for the aesthetic embellishment of the product, as well as the co-molding of a technical film that facilitates the process of bonding the soles to the upper, going to eliminate some steps in the assembly phase of the footwear.

The world of direct injection is also seeing developments and innovations, including the RPU® technology.

Thanks to the molds designed for this system, it is possible to make boots with accurate details, extremely light and with particularly thin thicknesses, which are distinguished by uniformity in color distribution, a sole with a high grip, and the possibility of employing a wide range of lining types.
