A shoe designed for the Indian market, targeting a young target audience. The manufacturer wanted to make a model that was beautiful, quality and affordable and sustainable. He relied on Apego far beyond making the mold, asking the company that has been in the footwear business for nearly 60 years to take care of all aspects of production.
A lightweight, soft and durable bottom structure obtained thanks to molds designed for a PU casting directly on the upper made using Gusbi technology. A molding system that not only allows products with low density and superior durability, but also better efficiency in footwear volumes made in an hour without sacrificing excellent finishing.
The model’s asymmetrical, raised toe, dedicated to protecting the foot, posed a challenge for the mold making, which had to provide for a perfect closure that would exclude the slightest imperfection.
